The latest record comes shortly after the Grammy-winning singer crossed the 10 billion streams mark on Spotify, further extending his lead among African artistes on the streaming platform.
The milestone also coincides with the release of his latest collaboration with DJ Tunez titled State of Mind.
The track, which was released on May 15, has already gained significant traction globally, recording more than 685,000 Spotify streams within a few days of release.
Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Balogun, has continued to enjoy massive international success over the years through hit projects, collaborations, and sold-out performances across different parts of the world.
His growing streaming numbers further underline the global expansion and commercial success of Afrobeats music.
