Popular content creator Broda Mike has sparked reactions online after calling out social media critic VeryDarkMan over political neutrality and governance in Nigeria.
According to him, Nigerians should stop blaming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu alone for the country’s problems and instead hold themselves accountable for not using their voices to demand better governance.
“President Bola Tinubu is not a failure, it’s me and you that are failures because we can’t use our online voices to change bad governance. VeryDarkMan, you claim President Tinubu is a failure, but who are you supporting to change the situation?” he said.
Broda Mike also mentioned blogger Tunde Ednut, praising him for openly supporting former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi despite living abroad.
He further criticized VeryDarkMan for remaining politically neutral, insisting that Nigerians would continue to suffer until citizens collectively decide to speak up and demand change.
“Tunde Ednut, despite living abroad, openly supports Peter Obi, but you said you are neutral. Everybody will continue to feel this heat until we all wake up,” he added.
His comments have generated mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians debating political neutrality, activism, and the current state of governance in the country.
The statement continues to trend across social media as conversations around governance, politics, and citizens’ participation intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
