Several Nigerians seeking to register for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) or complete voter registration processes have expressed frustration over persistent network failures at an Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office.
One applicant, visibly upset by the delays, said, “This is the third day I am coming here to make PVC registration and there is still no network.”
According to those affected, network-related disruptions reportedly prevented officials from processing registrations and other voter-related services, leaving many applicants stranded after spending hours waiting at the office.
Some residents complained that they had repeatedly returned to the registration centre without success, raising concerns about the impact of the technical issues on eligible voters seeking to participate in future elections.
The development sparked calls for INEC to urgently address the challenges and improve its registration infrastructure to ensure smoother and more efficient service delivery.
