The first batch of Nigerians repatriated from South Africa due to xenophobic violence has arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The group of 268 passengers touched down at 10:30 am on Thursday via Air Peace. The flight was initially scheduled for Monday but was delayed due to documentation issues.
Over 1,000 Nigerians have expressed interest in returning home. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has extended the screening exercise to Sunday to accommodate more applicants.View All Details News. .
