Buruj Football Club and Sports Academy continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading football talent development centers, with its young players making steady progress at both national and international levels.
One of the academy’s brightest prospects, Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen been selected as part of the Nigeria U-17 national team, the Golden Eaglets, for the upcoming CFA Team China U-17 International Tournament, scheduled to take place from July 5 to July 11, 2026.
Raheem’s call-up is another major achievement for Buruj Sports Academy, highlighting the academy’s commitment to developing young talents capable of competing on the international stage.
Meanwhile, Fawas Ayomide Adeleke, another exciting Buruj talent, remains with the Golden Eaglets in camp as he continues his development and pushes for future opportunities with the national team.
Adding to the academy’s growing list of talents, 14-year-old attacker Jacob Obiora Iyida is steadily making his mark as one of Buruj’s most promising young prospects. The young forward was recently granted a UK visa to attend a two-week football summer camp in the United Kingdom, where he will gain valuable international exposure and experience as part of his football development.

With his rapid growth and performances, Iyida Jacob Obiora now has his eyes firmly set on earning a call-up to the Nigeria U-15 national team, as he continues his journey toward representing the country at youth level.
