Decision Desk HQ projects Claire Valdez has won New York’s 7th Congressional District Democratic primary, defeating Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso.
Reynoso was backed by prominent Williamsburg askanim, while Valdez was endorsed by Mayor Zohran Mamdani. The district includes Williamsburg and other parts of North Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan. Valdez will advance to the November general election.
