Dapo Abiodun Tightens Security Around Ogun Schools Amid Rising Safety Concerns

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has intensified security measures around schools and educational institutions across the state to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and other school personnel.

The move is part of the administration’s commitment to providing a secure learning environment and strengthening public confidence in the state’s education system amid growing concerns over attacks on schools in parts of the country.

According to the state government, security surveillance has been increased around vulnerable schools, while security personnel are being deployed to strategic locations to prevent criminal activities and protect learners.

The government is also strengthening collaboration among security agencies and local security outfits, including Amotekun Corps, So-Safe Corps, hunters, and vigilance groups, as part of a wider multi-agency strategy to keep schools safe.

Governor Abiodun said the safety and well-being of learners remain a top priority, stressing that children represent the future of Ogun State and must be protected from emerging security threats.
