That, therefore, means that he bled to death from catastrophic injuries to his legs and pelvis after being run over by the vehicle.

A Makadara court has released managers Wines Mugire and Alex Kabuthi from Nicco Sacoo on KSh 1 million bond each after they denied hiding critical evidence in the case of Eugene Mutuku, who was thrown out of their matatus.

Family of Mtuku demands justice

Meanwhile, the family of the late Mutuku demanded justice after the brutal way he was allegedly killed by a canterkerous matatu crew.

According to a witness, the incident was caused by negligence from the vehicle crew; even after calling them out, Otieno and Kirumba continued to pick other passengers like nothing happened.

Another victim, Joseph Mureithi, faced a similar fate earlier this year, and there has not been a successful conviction up to now, raising concerns over matatu safety and accountability.
