Former Anambra State governor and NDC presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has called on Nigerians to publicly disclose any negative information they may have about him, emphasizing the importance of accountability and openness in public service.
Obi made the remarks while speaking during a podcast interview with Arise TV anchor Rufai Oseni.
During the discussion, Oseni said: “So, you want Kenneth to go and expose you.”
Replying, Obi said the invitation was not meant for Kenneth alone but for anyone with relevant information about him.
“Not just Kenneth, everybody should now say those things they know that is bad about me or I did that is wrong because it’s good for the system, it’s good for the society,” Obi said.
The former Anambra governor further stated that anyone aware of any wrongdoing involving him should come forward and make it known to the public.
He said: “So, if you know that when we were in primary school, this man was cheating or didn’t go to the primary school, didn’t go to secondary school, didn’t do, if you know this man has done something criminal somewhere, this is time to bring it up.”
Obi insisted that any claims or evidence suggesting misconduct on his part should be brought into the open for public scrutiny.
