Port Harcourt, Rivers State — Tension reportedly erupted in a residential compound in Port Harcourt after two co-wives of a man were allegedly involved in a physical confrontation over a domestic misunderstanding, resulting in a chaotic scene that drew the attention of neighbours.
As seen in the Trending Video, witness in the area claimed that the disagreement between the women escalated quickly from a verbal exchange into a physical altercation. The situation reportedly worsened when both parties were said to have been in a partially unclothed state during the incident, causing shock among residents who witnessed the scene.
According to a neighbour, the misunderstanding is believed to have stemmed from long-standing domestic disagreements within the polygamous household. Attempts by neighbours to intervene and calm the situation were said to have initially failed as emotions ran high.
A resident who spoke on condition of anonymity described the incident as “unexpected and disturbing,” noting that shouting was first heard before the confrontation became physical inside the compound.
Some men eventually intervened to separate the two women and restore calm. No official statement has been issued by their husband at the time of filing this report, and it remains unclear whether the matter has been formally reported to the police.
