Facebook Meeting Turns Deadly: Lady Runs Out Naked, Escapes Ritual Attempt in Benin [ VIDEO]

Benin City, Nigeria – A young woman is currently receiving care and providing statements to police after a harrowing escape from a suspected ritual attack in Benin City, Edo State. The incident, which occurred earlier this week, highlights the growing dangers associated with online dating and the Yahoo Boy subculture.

The victim, whose identity is being withheld for her safety, reportedly met her attacker on the social media platform Facebook. The suspect, believed to be a member of a group known locally as “Yahoo Boys” (internet fraudsters often also involved in ritualistic practices), lured her from Lagos to Benin City under false pretenses.

Upon arriving at the suspect’s residence, the situation took a terrifying turn. According to her account, she was met by four men who immediately turned hostile. They forced me to remove my clothes and enter a room, she recounted to authorities. watch video 

In a moment of sheer desperation, she managed to escape. She reported that she pushed one of the men standing behind her and ran for the door. Finding it open, she fled the building, running naked into the street while screaming for help. Her cries alerted neighbors, who intervened and subsequently notified the police.

The victim is now in police custody, where she is safe and assisting with the ongoing investigation. Her escape is being hailed as a miracle, a sentiment she expressed to officers, stating, It’s God that saved me.
