The Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC) has congratulated Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and former Speaker of the House of Representatives and Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on the occasion of their birthdays, describing them as exemplary leaders whose contributions have continued to strengthen governance and democratic development in Lagos State and Nigeria.
In separate goodwill messages issued by the Secretary of the body, Alhaji Mutiu Are, the apex advisory body of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State celebrated the two leaders for their dedication to public service, progressive leadership and commitment to the advancement of society.
Felicitating Governor Sanwo-Olu, the GAC said his birthday represents another significant milestone in a life devoted to service, vision and transformational leadership.
“Today marks another milestone in the beautiful journey of your life. May you continue to be blessed and follow your goals and ambitions to success,” the council stated.
The GAC noted that under Sanwo-Olu’s leadership, Lagos has continued to consolidate its status as Nigeria’s economic hub through sustained investments in infrastructure, transportation, healthcare, education and technology-driven governance.
The council also extended warm congratulations to Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, a member of the Governance Advisory Council and Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, praising his enduring contributions to democratic governance and nation-building.
Describing him as a distinguished statesman and accomplished public servant, the council said Gbajabiamila has remained a worthy ambassador of Lagos State and the progressive political family.
“Today marks another milestone in the beautiful journey of your life. May you continue to be blessed and follow your goals and ambitions to success,” the council said in its message to the former Speaker.
The council further commended both leaders for their unwavering commitment to the ideals of good governance, service to humanity and the development of democratic institutions.
It prayed for continued good health, divine guidance, greater accomplishments and many more years of impactful service to Lagos State and the nation.
