“He Was My Engine”- Niniola Breaks Down at Late Husband’s Service of Songs

Award-winning Nigerian singer Niniola Apata moved many to tears as she paid an emotional tribute to her late husband, Michael, during his Service of Songs held on Thursday.

Speaking about their relationship, the singer described her husband as her greatest supporter and the driving force behind her success. According to Niniola, Michael played a significant role in her life and career, constantly encouraging and believing in her dreams.

Fighting back emotions, she recalled how he promised to make her a superstar when they first met and said he fulfilled that promise.

“Michael did everything for me. He was breathing for me. He loved me so much. I learnt so much from him. When he met me, he said, ‘I will make you a superstar.’ Michael was my engine. He was the first person I saw in the morning and the last person at night.”

The heartfelt tribute left many attendees emotional as the singer reflected on the impact her husband had on her personal life and musical journey.

Niniola’s remarks have since resonated with fans online, with many offering prayers and condolences while celebrating the love and bond she shared with her late husband.
