Joel Fitzpatrick, who alleges that he lost approximately KSh 80 million in the short-lived marriage, warned the public against attempting to buy the property as the legal battle continues in court.

Speaking to NGBREAKINGNEWS, he shared photos of the house located in Malindi, Kilifi County, insisting that it forms part of the assets acquired during his union with his estranged Kenyan wife.

His claims remain unproven and are currently being examined by the court.

According to Fitzpatrick, he relocated from Dublin to Kenya after developing a relationship with his now-estranged wife, with whom he later married following what he describes as a rapid courtship.

He alleges that shortly after settling in Kenya, he began transferring large sums of money intended for joint investment and the establishment of their new life together.

He further claims that a significant portion of the funds was used to acquire high-value assets, including the Malindi property, which he says is valued in the tens of millions of shillings.

The house, which he has now publicly circulated in photographs, is described as an upscale residence featuring a swimming pool, solar-powered systems, and expansive landscaped gardens.

In the images, the property presents a polished, modern finish that reflects what Fitzpatrick has characterised as a lifestyle built on his financial contribution.

The man has now warned members of the public against purchasing or entering into any agreements involving the property, stating that its ownership remains under dispute.

His warning adds a new layer of tension to an already heated case, which has attracted growing public attention both locally and online.

The dispute between Fitzpatrick and his estranged wife has unfolded in the Malindi Law Courts, where both parties are expected to present detailed financial records and testimonies regarding the source of funds used to acquire assets during the marriage.

Court proceedings have so far centred on competing claims over ownership, with Fitzpatrick alleging that he financed the purchases, while the opposing side is expected to challenge those assertions.

“The house is not for sale. It is mine. I can prove 100% on everything. She can’t prove anything!” he insisted.

So far, no judicial determination has yet been made regarding the matter, and the allegations remain contested.

The case has sparked mixed reactions among members of the public. Some have expressed sympathy for Fitzpatrick, particularly following his claims that he has been left financially strained and reliant on well-wishers for accommodation and daily support.

Others, however, have urged caution, noting that the matter is still before the courts and that ownership of the property has not been legally established.

Fitzpatrick’s decision to share images of the home has intensified interest in the case, with online discussions focusing on both the scale of the alleged financial loss and the opulence of the disputed property.

The house, situated in one of Malindi’s more affluent neighbourhoods, has become a visual focal point of the controversy.

Despite the growing attention, legal experts and observers have emphasised that the matter remains strictly within the jurisdiction of the court, which will ultimately determine the validity of the claims and the rightful ownership of the assets in question.

As proceedings continue, both parties are expected to return to court for further hearings that will delve deeper into the financial transactions, property acquisitions, and the breakdown of the marriage.

Until then, the dispute remains unresolved, with the fate of the Malindi property hanging in the balance.
