Emmanuel Obasi, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has spoken about their crashed marriage.
In a preview of his interview on The Honest Bunch Podcast, he revealed that they were once married and had two children, but their relationship became strained because of Yul.
According to him, anytime they were watching television, and Yul appeared on the screen, Judy would lose concentration. He claimed that she constantly professed her love for Yul to his face and constantly praised him.
He said that he has evidence to back up his claim, insisting that the couple were dating while he was still legally married to Judy.
“I’m the former husband of Judy Austin, and we have two children together. Sometimes I ask myself, wetin man do man for this life?
Anytime we were watching Television and Yul Edochie appeared, Judy wouldn’t concentrate anymore.
She’ll be telling me to my face that she loves this man, but she won’t say it in that direction; she will be praising him and saying she loves the way he acts in movies, and that his voice sounds like her uncle’s.
I have evidence that they were dating under my roof….”
Recall that in 2022, Mr Obasi revealed that he married Judy at age 19, and they welcomed two beautiful children. He disclosed that he had spent heavily on Judy so she could have a degree, yet she abandoned him for Yul, whom she started dating in 2012 while still married to him.
He further claimed that Judy packed up and left their house with the kids after he refused to buy her a house in Enugu. Though he reported the incident to her parents, they made no budge, and Judy has since cut him off from their kids.
In 2024, Obasi, claimed that Yul was sleeping with Judy while she was under his roof, and moved in with him to her family’s house. Obasi revealed that Judy’s family openly accepted the actor even though she was still married to him.
In another video, Obasi cried out to Nigerians for help with custody of his kids. He claimed he hadn’t seen his kids in over 10 years and that the actress was frustrating his life with them because she knew he loved them. He further claimed that Judy had abandoned the kids to focus on her children with Yul, which has left him worried about their well-being and upbringing.
Emmanuel shared the warning message he sent to Yul, urging him not to let a woman bring him down; unfortunately, the actor didn’t respond or heed his advice. Throwing a shot at him, he noted how Yul took over the cross from him, for which he is still grateful. Emmanuel stated that he is now free, and Yul is caged.
He threw a subtle shade at Judy while sharing a throwback photo of himself and the actress when they were still together.
Recently, he shared a throwback photo of himself with Judy and their daughter, saying that it is an abomination before man and God to take someone’s children to another man’s house.
