Media personality Noble Igwe has stirred conversations online after publicly apologising for previous comments he made about Aba and the development efforts taking place in the city.
In a post shared on X, Noble Igwe admitted that his recent visit to Aba changed his perspective, stating that he was not prepared for what he witnessed on ground.
He wrote:
“I’m so sorry for everything I said to defend Aba , I was online shouting that I was going to support Alex Otti but nothing prepared me for what i witnessed in Aba.
Please forgive me”
His comments quickly generated reactions from social media users, with some praising the ongoing transformation in Aba, while others questioned whether the developments being celebrated were significant enough given the resources available to the state.
The discussion also expanded into debates about governance, infrastructure development, federal allocations, and the performance of the administration of Alex Otti.

People won’t understand because they didn’t see this city pre 2020
@ysone2
I sympathise with you and your fellow Abia indigenes. Even with the huge allocation from the FG , this is what you celebrate in the year 2026 . This is ridiculous!
@kingMrR63
