“I’ve Had Enough”- Peter Okoye Vows To Speak Out On Insecurity

Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has spoken out strongly on the issues of insecurity and poor governance in Nigeria, saying he is now ready to openly address national problems without fear of criticism.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the Afrobeats star said he is no longer bothered about online attacks or backlash that may follow his comments.

“The way I’m about to start speaking out on insecurity and bad governance in Nigeria, all these N3k sponsored attackers better get ready,” he wrote.

He also made it clear that attempts to silence him would not deter his stance, insisting he has reached a point where he is fully prepared to express his opinions freely.

“If una wan cancel me, make una line up well. Cos me too I don fall out,” he added.

His comments come at a time of heightened concern over rising insecurity in the country, especially following recent abductions in Oyo State, which have triggered public outrage and renewed calls for government action.

Reactions have since trailed his statement online, with some users commending his boldness, while others noted that celebrities who speak on political issues often face significant backlash.
