NAHCON Chair condoles predecessor, Prof. Usman over wife’s death 

The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Amb Ismail Abba Yusuf, has extended the commission’s condolences to immediate past Chairman of the commission, Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Zainab Saleh Usman.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the NAHCON management and circulated among journalists, on Sunday.

Amb Yusuf, who is currently on official engagement, delegated a three-man NAHCON Board  contingent to condole Prof Sale.  

The delegation comprised Prof Musa Bin Fodio, Amb. Ahmed Sule and Amb Rabiu Lawal. 

The NAHCON Chairman described the loss as deeply painful and prayed to Almighty Allah to comfort Prof. Usman, his family and loved ones at this difficult moment.

He said the Commission shares in the grief of the former Chairman and stands in solidarity with him in prayer, asking Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, widen and illuminate her grave, and admit her into Aljannatul Firdaus.

Amb Yusuf further prayed that Allah grants Prof. Usman, members of his family and all those affected by the loss the fortitude, patience and strength to bear the irreparable loss.

NAHCON prayed that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, repose the soul of the deceased, reward her for her good deeds, and make her final abode Jannatul Firdaus.

“May He also grant her family comfort, peace and the grace to remain steadfast in faith” NAHCON Chairman.
