A Kenyan woman has warmed hearts online after the touching way she accepted her internship letter in front of a large audience.

Gloria stepped onto the stage to receive her appointment letter, proudly showing she was both a new intern and a devoted mother.

Aden Duale receives Gloria, her beautiful daughter

As Gloria walked to the stage, she carried her beautiful daughter with pride as guests applauded her.

She confidently approached Cabinet Secretary Aden Bare Duale and Principal Secretary Ouma Oluga to receive her internship letter while holding her little one.

The government officials were all smiles as they welcomed Gloria and her baby, who remained calm throughout the heartwarming moment.

Gloria briefly handed her peaceful baby girl to Oluga so she could pose for a photo with Duale while receiving her internship letter.

During the photo session, Duale gently leaned over and kissed the baby on the forehead before posing alongside Gloria.

Oluga then handed the baby back to Gloria, who happily returned to her seat holding both her daughter and the internship letter.

Nairobi cobbler carries baby to work

In another story, a father of two in Nairobi earned widespread admiration after he was spotted carrying his eight-month-old baby to work.

Andrew Gikonyo, a cobbler, worked at the junction of Accra Road and River Road near the 2NK Shuttle station in Nairobi’s central business district.

Photos and videos showing him caring for his baby girl while working touched many Kenyans after a customer, May Jerono, shared them online.

In one of the clips, May held the little girl in her arms while her father repaired her shoe. The baby eventually fell asleep.
