Cynthia boldly and confidently challenged MP Kibet Komingoi, highlighting the poor state of their classrooms and urging him to act swiftly to improve the learning environment.

“MP, where are you? Look at me. Look at the uniform I am wearing. My name is Cynthia, and where you are standing is called Ngesumin. Take a look at the classrooms. There are no windows, right? Are there any? None, right? There is nothing. Sometimes when we come to school, we have to carry blankets,” she said.

However, the brave young girl admitted that their biggest challenge was growing increasingly impatient as they waited for those promises to be fulfilled.

She then turned her attention to Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot, saying that seeing him at the school reminded her of the president.

Cynthia revealed that Cheruiyot was her role model, adding that her peers often referred to her as “Senator Cynthia”.

She also thanked the county government for providing a water tank to the school, noting that it had greatly improved the lives of both learners and teachers.

“The good things you have done for the school have really defended you. We used to go to the river to fetch water, and it interfered with our studies. But now we have tanks, and we can use the water for everything,” she said.
