Two years ago, Kwam1 found himself in trouble after videos of his mansion surfaced online, prompting many to question the source of his wealth. Some even went as far as comparing his house to that of singer, Davido, as they wondered how he could have a more expensive lifestyle than the Afrobeat singer.

Recently, Kwam1, had declared his interest in the vacant Awujale stool, claiming lineage from the Jadiara Royal House of the wider Fusengbuwa Ruling House.

However, the Fusengbuwa ruling house rejected his claim, stating that he is not a member of the royal house.

To challenge what he perceived as injustice, Ayinde filed a suit against the Fusengbuwa ruling house, Governor Abiodun, the Chairman of Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Dare Alebiosu, and three others.

He sent a letter to the governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun, claiming that there was a plot to exclude him from the ongoing process and alleged that the ruling house had been issuing directives with the intention of disenfranchising him and other interested members from contesting for the throne.

In 2023, Kwam1 was conferred with the title of The New Olori Omoba Akile Ijebu, during the Ojude Oba festival in IJebu. The singer shared his confirmation letter on his social media page with adoration to God. Kwam1 officially announced his title as The New Olori Omoba Akile Ijebu.

Celebrities like Mercy Aigbe Adeoti, Shina Peller, Queen Salawa Abeni, and other close associates of KWAM1 have celebrated his latest achievement.
