“As the first wife, I would like us to become four. As the second wife, we are waiting for the fourth wife. As the third wife, I am eagerly looking forward to welcoming her,” said the wives.
Why the man wants fourth wife
The man, who is said to have converted to Islam, explained that the religion permits a man to marry up to four wives, provided he can treat them fairly and equally.
“If a man can treat all his wives fairly and equally, then there is no problem,” the family said in the viral clip. “But if a man cannot be fair and just, then such an arrangement is not worth pursuing,” added the proud husband.
In the video, the man wore a stylish black-striped suit, a white shirt and a tie, while his wives were dressed in traditional Islamic attire, wearing hijabs that neatly covered their hair.
