“Furahia kabisa. When you become a parent, you’ll understand how painful it is to pay school fees only for your child to come back home because of a strike. My son came home, stayed for two weeks and then went back. Now they are home again for the same reason. It hurts a lot.”

“They even have phones in school. I wish you knew that even raising fare to get you home is an uphill task for some of us parents.”

“This is so sad. You are happy about going home. Nowadays, home feels like heaven to you, but remember your parents. Some of them pray for you every day just to keep you in school and help shape your future. Very unfortunate.”
