Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has reprimanded her colleague and friend, Eniola Badmus, over her saga with her makeup artist.
Kemi Filani reported a day ago that Badmus had shared online that a makeup artist disappointed her by failing to show up despite being booked for an important event. She also called on her fans to drag the lady and shared the lady’s mobile number online.
Speaking out, the makeup artist stated that her actions were not intentional. She explained that the actress did not make any advance payment for the job, and her business required confirmed bookings before she could honour any engagement. The make-up artist added that she did not initially want to respond, but the volume of threats had become overwhelming.
In a video she shared on her Snapchat page, Funke was seen reprimanding Eniola, who had visited her. She questioned why the actress was misbehaving, noting how she had told her to stop fighting and abusing people online.
Funke stressed that what she did to the makeup artist was wrong, and if Badmus doesn’t want to be corrected, then she should stop visiting her.
“Badosky, why were you misbehaving online? I have told you to stop fighting and abusing people online. What you did is totally wrong. If you can’t let me correct you, don’t visit me. What you did to that woman was bad. I am going to fight for her”.
A month ago, Badmus had challenged Funke to a boxing match. She said it was about time and urged Soso Soberekon to invest money in their fight.
Over the years, Funke and Eniola have grown from being colleagues to being best friends and sisters. The friendship between the two is one that many find admirable.
Last year, Badmus melted hearts with a video of her hyping Funke Akindele after she grossed N2 billion at the cinema.
On Funke’s 48th birthday, Badmus described Funke as her sister for many years and stated that Funke was more than just her friend. She said Funke is the one she loves, and the one who truly loves her back in ways unexplainable. She appreciated the filmmaker for all the memories and for bringing brightness to her life.
When Eniola broke down at a public event over her inability to have children, Funke had prayed for her to have kids. She had also vowed to throw a big part in her children’s naming ceremony.
Recall that in 2023, rumors of bad blood between the two made rounds after Badmus shunned Funke’s movie premiere. Even though she helped in putting up a promotional post for the movie, she ensured she was absent from the movie premiere to pay back Funke for the times she shunned her events too.
To shut down the rumours, the curvy actress sweetly celebrated Funke on her 46th birthday, and Funke reacted by poking fun at her.
Reciprocating the love, Funke had sweetly celebrated her on her birthday, gushing over Eniola Badmus’ transformation body.
Akindele addressed the news about her strained relationship with Eniola which she blamed on their busy schedule. She said she likes her a lot and revealed the reasons she loves Badmus.
Eniola had also said something similar in an Instagram post about their friendship. She had shared a photo of the filmmaker accompanied by a lengthy post on why they had not been goofing as usual.
