Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has clapped at those attacking her over her reaction to Baba Ijesha and Luminee’s marriage and pregnancy news.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that the Yoruba actor, who was imprisoned for raping a minor, announced that he had welcomed a child with the celebrity stylist. He said that God had been writing his story and had given him more than he prayed for – a wife and now a baby boy.
Reacting to the news, Nkechi shared a video of herself, perplexed, as she questioned how it was possible.
Her statement didn’t sit well with many, who slammed her for it.
Defending herself, Nkechi noted how netizens are always quick to shut people up and bring up her constant failed relationships. She noted how none of her exes was paedophiles.
“Always quick to shut people up with you, dey change men like cloth. At least none of them is a paedophile. Ogun kill all of una. It’s like una thinks say, “I well?”

Recall that in 2021, comedienne Princess accused Ijesha of defiling her 14-year-old ward. In a video that was made available online, the actress accused Baba Ijesha of molesting her daughter without consent.
In 2022, Baba Ijesha had bagged 5 years imprisonment for raping comedienne, Princess’s 14 years old daughter.
On Friday, November 15th, 2025, the famous actor was released from prison, after spending over three years in custody over alleged sexual assault.
Announcing his release, actor Yomi Fabiyi shared on Instagram that he had been cleared by the Appeal Court. He stated that Ijesha wasn’t just back, but was better, and expressed his happiness that he had been cleared.
Speaking out, Baba Ijesha, in an interview with Biola, had addressed his rape allegations, maintaining that he isn’t a pedophile nor a rapist. He said Princess knows she has betrayed everyone she has ever been friends with, and expressed how hurt he was by how Iyabo Ojo turned on him. He noted that he had taken care of her kids when they were younger, yet she doubted him.
