Old video of Nollywood actress Judy Austin denying starting a relationship with actor Yul Edochie while she was still married to her former husband has popped up, amid fresh allegations by her first husband, Mr Obasi.
In the video that resurfaced online, Judy Austin described the claims as false and maintained that her previous marriage ended in March 2013.
According to her, she did not meet Yul Edochie until several years after the marriage had already ended.
The actress insisted that narratives suggesting otherwise were untrue and challenged those making the allegations. She further defended her position by stating that she had never seen or met Yul while she was still in her former marriage.
The video resurfaced amid renewed public interest following recent allegations made by her ex-husband, who claimed that she and Yul Edochie were involved during their marriage. Judy’s statement directly contradicts those claims and represents her most detailed response to the controversy so far.

“The obvious question that has been flying around is were you in your previous marriage when you met Yul Edochie? And the answer is No. That is fattest lie ever told about me on social media. And I’m going to elaborate more. My previous marriage ended in March 2013 and I saw Yul Edochie for the very first time, years after my first marriage ended. So anyone saying otherwise are plainly lying. If I’m lying, if I saw Yul while in that marriage, if I saw Yul while with my eyes while I was still answering someone else’s name, let all the curs£s, !nsults that people have been heaping on me, let it happen to me a billion times over. But if for any reason, I did not see Yul with my eyes years after my first marriage let all the curs£s go back to the people laying it a billion times over…”
