Former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani has called out some members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who are attempting to draft President Goodluck Jonathan into the 2027 presidential contest.
Sani, a chieftain of the PDP described the move as belated and politically motivated.
In a post on X, he questioned the motives of those individuals promoting Jonathan’s candidacy now that the party is in shambles, stating that the adoption of Jonathan should have come when the party was in a stronger political position in 2023....... .
