According to eyewitnesses in the Okeira area, the commotion began around 9:00 AM when the sisters, identified as Adaobi (28) and Nkechi (25) Eze, were seen arguing violently outside a shared residence. The argument, which centered on accusations of infidelity involving a man simply named as Kingsley,” quickly escalated from harsh words to physical violence.
It was like something from a movie, said shop owner John Obasi, who watched the scene unfold. One minute they were screaming. The next, they were on the ground pulling each other’s hair. Then they started tearing off each other’s clothes. Nobody could step in because they were so wild.
Witnesses report that the sisters, who had reportedly been living together peacefully for years, turned the street into a battlefield. Within minutes, both women were completely unclothed, continuing to scratch and claw at each other as stunned neighbors and passersby looked on. It took the intervention of four male bystanders to finally separate them, using wrappers and a blanket to cover the screaming women.
The cause of the strife, according to a close family friend who spoke on condition of anonymity, is a man Kingsley was allegedly dating both women secretly.
