“The love and support I can’t look away” – Peter Okoye overwhelmed as he writes heartfelt note

Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has written a heartfelt note to his fans and lovers.

On his Twitter page, he expressed excitement and happiness at the love and support he has been receiving, saying he can’t look away.

Peter said that from the streams, comments, shares, messages, and videos, everything has been overwhelming.

“I am so excited and happy! Where has all this love been? The love and support for I CAN’T LOOK AWAY has been absolutely overwhelming!

From the streams to the comments, shares, messages, and videos… wow!

I see every single one of you, and I’m truly grateful.

Right now, I honestly CAN’T LOOK AWAY from all this love and support!

Team P, we’re just getting started!”

Peter spoke about his hustle and his sleepless nights. He shared a photo of himself sleeping in the studio at 3am, noting how these are the sacrifices people don’t see. He admonished the public to trust the process, as every hustle will surely pay off.

Peter, while sharing a throwback video of himself with Nigerian Chelsea legend Mikel Obi, reflected on his football days. He revealed that he used to play football and chase music at the same time, but destiny chose the mic instead, and today he’s an established, successful artist. Peter credited his success to grace.

In a new month prayer to his fans, Peter shared a video of his house interiors, praying that his type of broke or brokeness locate his fans.

While writing a note to his younger self, the singer had stated that he would tell himself not to trust people too much, believe in himself, and remember that nobody loves it when he loves himself first. He added that family is blood-related, but real family is loyalty.

Sometimes back, Peter had shared photos of himself with billionaire Aliko Dangote, noting that rich people don’t have shame and are always chasing opportunities. He made it known that shame is for the broke ones. An X user pointed out the irony in which Peter said he has no shame, yet went for a hair transplant.

In 2024, the former Psquare crooner threw a subtle shade at his family as he sent a message to the general public, stating that one shouldn’t allow family to be the reason they’re drowning in silence. He noted how he did for over 20 years, and it cost me everything. Peter noted how love doesn’t manipulate, loyalty doesn’t betray, and family doesn’t steal from you.
