TikToker Immunizer Remanded in Kirikiri Over Alleged Cyberbullying of Mohbad’s Wife

LAGOS, NIGERIA — A Lagos Magistrate Court sitting in Ogba has remanded popular TikToker, Oladimeji Hammed, popularly known as “Immunizer,” at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre over allegations of cyberbullying, cyberstalking, and defamation against Omowunmi Cynthia Aloba, the widow of late Nigerian singer, Mohbad.

The defendant was arraigned before the Samuel Ilori Magistrate Court on charges bordering on the alleged use of social media platforms to publish content considered defamatory and harmful to the reputation of the complainant.

According to the prosecution, Immunizer allegedly shared several posts on social media between February and March 2026, which exposed Omowunmi Aloba to public ridicule, harassment, and contempt. The prosecution further claimed that the content contained false and damaging allegations capable of inciting hostility against the widow of the late singer.

The court heard that some of the posts allegedly suggested that Aloba intended to leave the country before the conclusion of ongoing investigations surrounding Mohbad’s death. Prosecutors argued that the publications contributed to online attacks and public backlash directed at the complainant.

During the proceedings, the court granted the defendant bail but ordered that he remain in custody pending the fulfillment of the bail conditions. The conditions reportedly include the provision of two sureties, one of whom must be a serving state civil servant, while the other must be a blood relative. Both sureties are also required to provide valid tax records and proof of financial capability.

As a result, Immunizer was remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre until the bail requirements are met.

The case has been adjourned to a later date for further hearing as legal proceedings continue.
