Michigan, USA: Neema Wanjiku, a young Kenyan woman living abroad, has shared a video of her graduation, and one moment that touched many people was when her father helped put on her hood.
Neema is a medic and practises as a neurologist, and as she walked down the aisle to the stage, she was given her certificate, and when she got to her dad, she turned, and Dr Stalet Macharia dressed her in the hoodie.
For the young beauty from Kenya who had always been looking forward to graduation, the four years of hard work she had put into it had been worth the wait.

“Walking across the stage today as the first physician in my family—this is the American dream, personified. This is what my parents immigrated for; a life built on sacrifice, shaped by faith, and a dream that never asked for permission to exist,” she said of her big day.
