Sixteen girls perished in the dormitory fire that shook the nation and left theri family members in unimaginable agony and sorrow.
The parents were inconsolable as they still struggled to come to terms with the premature demise of their children before living their lives to the fullest.
Their faces were downcast, and tears freely flowed down their cheeks during the emotional service on Friday, June 12, at the Gilgil Stadium.
A video capturing the emotional moment went viral with social media users sympathising with them and penning emotional messages.
