Actor-turned-politician Kenneth Okonkwo has described former Vice President and ADC Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar as a “talent discoverer” and a leader with a clear vision for Nigeria, while maintaining that NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi lacks the decisiveness required to lead the country.
Speaking during a media interview while reacting to a lawsuit reportedly filed against him by Peter Obi, Okonkwo said he was inspired after his first meeting with Atiku.
“When I met him for the first time and he told me his vision for this country, I was captivated. Atiku Abubakar, as president, is going to be a man of action. That is what his mission is,” he said.
Explaining why he stopped speaking on Obi’s behalf, Okonkwo said, “I said I wasn’t speaking for him anymore because he is not decisive. I have seen certain qualities in him that will make him unfit to be President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I made it public.”
