Veteran Actor Pete Edochie Honours Alexx Ekubo With Heartfelt Tribute And Profile Picture Change

Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has expressed grief over the reported passing and burial of his colleague Alexx Ekubo, sharing a heartfelt tribute on social media.

The respected screen icon reposted an old photo of himself with Alexx alongside a brief emotional message that read, “Goodnight son, Ikuku nwa m.” He also shared a video clip from the burial proceedings said to have taken place in the actor’s hometown in Arochukwu, Abia State.

In a further show of respect, Pete Edochie updated his Instagram profile picture, replacing it with an image of Alexx Ekubo as a mark of honour.

Meanwhile, fellow veteran actor Chiwetalu Agu also paid tribute, expressing sadness over the development and describing Alexx as a talented storyteller whose influence in the film industry would be remembered for years.

He noted that the industry had not only lost a performer but also a creative voice whose contributions left a lasting impact.
