VIDEO: Abia Man Arrested for Allegedly Impregnating Twin Stepdaughters ; CCTV Footage Captures Incident

Aba, Abia State – A 17-year-old girl is three months pregnant for her stepfather, Mr. Cyril Ogolo, a 45-year-old herbalist and spiritualist, in a case of alleged sexual abuse that police say was captured on CCTV camera.

Ogolo, an indigene of Opobo in Rivers State based in Aba, was arrested after the twin sisters fled their home to Uyo. The case is being investigated by the Aba Area Command of the Nigeria Police Force.

According to police sources, Ogolo sexually assaulted both twin stepdaughters, impregnating one. The girls’ mother had recently given birth to Ogolo’s child. The twins, who completed their WAEC exams, lived with their mother and stepfather since 2010, after their mother left their biological father, Mr. Maduabuchi. watch video

The victims initially resisted Ogolo’s advances and reported him to their mother, who allegedly failed to act. Police sources confirmed that district surveillance cameras captured the suspect engaging in inappropriate conduct with the minors.

The case emerged when Ogolo petitioned his wife’s Pentecostal church, claiming they had performed an abortion on one of the twins. Police medical tests revealed the teenager was three months pregnant and DNA tests identified Ogolo as the father.

The suspect confessed to the crime during interrogation,” a police source stated, adding that Ogolo will face charges once the investigation concludes.
