“The truth is, there is no money or anything else that can replace the gap left behind by my daughter. This is why I want to give her a good and unique send-off. I do not want to simply cover her with sand because she was very dear to me. I have already spent a lot, but I am still willing to spend everything I have to celebrate her life,” he said.
He added that those willing to support the family can reach him through 0794589354.
Nyakeri further stated that the government had not yet reached out to the family regarding memorial or burial arrangements, forcing them to rely on the kindness of church members and well-wishers.
The Grade 10 student will be laid to rest in Narok, where her family hopes to give her a dignified send-off once the identification process is completed.
