The young man removed his cap and lifted his leg as if preparing to enter the stalled lorry. He bounced twice, seemingly pretending to gather momentum to climb in, while occasionally glancing back as though assessing the officers around him.
Several journalists were nearby capturing photos and videos of the arrest. Realising that none of the officers was physically holding him, the young man suddenly bolted.
In his haste, the protester barely paid attention to where he was running and narrowly avoided being hit by an oncoming lorry.
Fortunately, he managed to get away as stunned officers looked on in disbelief.
None of the officers pursued him, although one briefly attempted to grab his jacket as he fled.
The video later showed him sprinting away while repeatedly looking over his shoulder to check whether he was being followed, as onlookers watched the dramatic escape unfold.
