You don’t feel our pains” – Actress Hilda Dokubo slams Tinubu over comment on insecurity (Video)

Nollywood actress Hilda Dokubo has reacted to President Tinubu’s comment on insecurity.

In a video she shared on her YouTube page, she expressed frustration over the increasing rate of kidnappings and violent attacks across the country. While calling for urgent government action and empathy, she slammed the president for being detached from citizens’ suffering.

She told the president that Nigerians aren’t seeking biblical lessons, parables or sermons, but answers to why kidnappings, attacks, and fear continue to dominate daily life. She lamented that children are still being kidnapped, communities are being raided, farmers are abandoning their farmlands, and many families are grieving loved ones lost to violence.

In the lengthy video, she pointed out how public officials enjoy heavy security while ordinary Nigerians face harsh realities. She described the abducted schoolchildren as heartbreaking, and also lamented the fear experienced by parents of kidnapped children.

The veteran stressed that she is more concerned on whether the government can effectively protect lives and property, adding that this is the question many Nigerians want answered.

When Tinubu declared a State of emergency in Rivers State, Hilda pondered whether Tinubu was declaring a State of emergency because Rivers State had been at peace for two years or to capture their economy or because of one man. Describing his action as shameless, she stated that the President should admit he wants to annex Rivers State.

In 2023, Dokubo lashed out at Delta politician Okowa’s daughter following her appeal to Peter Obi’s supporters. Dokubo stated that politicians are beginning to confess, as she went on to liken them to the local witches at Okere junction. Hilda questioned if the rest of the politicians would confess or would rather have their offspring live with the shame they had left them.

In another post, days before the 2023 General elections, Hilda had asked an important question about her state of origin, Rivers State. She questioned if Rivers State was still a Christian state or now a confused state. She further questioned if Wike’s political greed and ambition had made him deflect from his words.
