2027: Peter Obi Wants Pity Votes’ — Nigerian Lady Reacts to Viral Interview

A Nigerian woman has reacted to the recent interview by the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, in which he alleged that he has faced political intimidation and that his life is under threat.

In a video shared online, the woman described Obi’s claims as “reckless,” arguing that some of the allegations he made were either exaggerated or lacked sufficient basis.

Reacting to Obi’s complaint that airport officials no longer greet him, she questioned the claim, saying it was unrealistic to suggest that political leaders would instruct airport personnel not to acknowledge him.

She also addressed Obi’s allegation that he was prevented from parking at an airport, stating that reports indicated he had attempted to park in a restricted area and should have complied with the parking regulations instead of portraying the incident as political persecution.

The woman further dismissed Obi’s claim that his brother was targeted when a property linked to him was demolished in Lagos. According to her, the demolition was part of a wider exercise involving several structures allegedly built on unapproved land and was not directed specifically at Obi’s family.

She argued that Obi was presenting ordinary administrative actions as political attacks in an effort to attract public sympathy ahead of the 2027 general election.

The video has since generated mixed reactions on social media, with some users agreeing with her views while others defended Obi’s right to raise concerns about alleged political intimidation.
