Caught on Camera: Two Yahoo Boys Arrested After Allegedly Sexually Abusing Ugandan Hookup Girl (video)

Two suspected internet fraudsters, commonly referred to as “Yahoo boys,” have reportedly been arrested in Ghana following allegations that they sexually abused a Ugandan woman they allegedly lured into the country under false pretences.

According to the woman’s account, the suspects invited her from Uganda to Ghana after promising her a better life and financial opportunities. However, shortly after arriving at their residence, she claimed the situation took a disturbing turn.

The woman alleged that about an hour after reaching the house, the two men forced her to remove her clothes and threatened to kill her if she resisted or raised an alarm. Watch the video

“I kept praying silently because they told me they would kill me if I shouted,” she reportedly said.

She explained that during the alleged assault, she repeatedly cried out for help. Her screams reportedly attracted the attention of another man living within the same compound, who knocked on the suspects’ door to inquire about the disturbance.

According to her statement, the suspects allegedly told the neighbour that she was their girlfriend and that everything was fine. However, the man reportedly insisted on seeing her to confirm that she was safe.

When the suspects allegedly refused to let him see the woman, the neighbour threatened to contact the police immediately if they did not bring her outside.

Faced with the warning, the suspects reportedly returned the woman’s mobile phone and other personal belongings before allowing her to leave the house.

The woman said she then explained the incident to the neighbour, who advised her that she had narrowly escaped a more serious ordeal and accompanied her to a police station, where she filed a formal complaint.

Reports indicate that Ghanaian police subsequently arrested the two suspects in connection with the allegations.

The woman further claimed that the suspects later sold their mobile phones to raise money for her transportation back to Uganda.
