Comrade Dauda Remembers Yeyesewa of Lagos, Chief Titilola Olukemi Nelson Four Years After

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government,Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has paid glowing tribute to the late Yeyesewa of Lagos and former South-West Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC),  Chief (Mrs.) Titilola Olukemi Nelson, on the fourth anniversary of her passing.

Comrade Dauda described the late political matriarch as an exceptional leader, bridge-builder and compassionate mother (Abiyamo toto) whose unwavering commitment to the growth of the All Progressives Congress and the advancement of women in politics left an enduring legacy.

According to the Chairman, Chief Mrs. Nelson’s life was defined by selfless service, uncommon wisdom, humility and a passion for mentoring the younger generation of political leaders. He noted that her contributions to Lagos State and the progressive family remain invaluable and continue to inspire many.

“Today marks four years since the passing of our revered Yeyesewa of Lagos, yet her memory remains alive in our hearts. She was more than a political leader; she was a mentor, an inspiration and a mother to countless people whose lives she touched through her kindness, guidance and exemplary leadership.”

“Her remarkable legacy continues to speak through the many people she nurtured and the positive impact she made across Lagos State and beyond. Though she is no longer with us, her good works remain indelible,” Comrade Dauda stated.

The Ikeja Local Government Chairman prayed that Almighty God would continue to grant the late Chief Titilola Olukemi Nelson eternal rest and comfort her family, associates and the entire APC family with the cherished memories of a life well spent.

“As we remember her today, we celebrate a woman of honour whose service, sacrifice and dedication to humanity will never be forgotten. May her gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace,” he added.
