A Nigerian man living in the United Kingdom has sparked widespread debate online after responding to claims by his brother that he became gay after relocating abroad.
In a viral video, the man, who identified himself as an Igbo native, insisted that his sexual orientation is not something he learned in the UK, maintaining that he was born gay and had been open about it long before leaving Nigeria.
According to him:
“Everyone in my village knows I am homosexual. I am not going to hell because I am a gay man. Nobody learns to be a homosexual, I did not learn to be gay in the UK; I was born a homosexual.”
