FRSC Opens 2026 Recruitment Portal Friday

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the commencement of its 2026 recruitment exercise from Friday, July 3.

It invited qualified Nigerians to apply for vacancies across officer, marshal inspectorate, and road marshal assistant cadres.

The FRSC said the application process is free and open to eligible candidates for four weeks through the corps’ official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.frsc.gov.ng.

The Deputy Corps Marshal and Head of Administration and Human Resources, Pauline Olaye, announced the commencement in a statement, stressing that the application attracts no cost.

“Application is free and attracts no cost,” Olaye said.

The corps said shortlisted candidates must present printed copies of their application forms during the screening exercise.

Categories And Requirements

Under the Officer Cadre, available positions include Superintendent Route Commander, Route Commander/Deputy Route Commander, and Assistant Route Commander.

Eligible applicants include medical doctors, pharmacists, nurses, medical laboratory scientists, lawyers, engineers, and graduates with B.Sc., BA, or HND qualifications, depending on the position. Applicants in this category must generally be between 18 and 35 years old.

For the Marshal Inspectorate Cadre, applicants with NCE, ND/OND, Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife, or Community Health Extension Worker qualifications may apply. Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old.

The Road Marshal Assistant Cadre is open to candidates with a minimum of three credits in SSCE, including English Language and Mathematics.

Artisans and drivers, including computer operators, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, tailors, motorcycle riders, and drivers, may also apply under this category, subject to relevant trade qualifications and licences.

Applicants for driver and rider positions must possess the appropriate class of valid driver’s licence. Articulated and tow-truck drivers must be between 26 and 40 years old.

General Requirements

Applicants must be Nigerians by birth, computer literate, medically fit, and single. They must also meet the required educational qualifications and hold relevant professional licences where applicable.

Male applicants must be at least 1.65 metres tall, while female applicants must have a minimum height of 1.58 metres.

The FRSC said all certificates and qualifications must be declared and presented at the point of recruitment, warning that undeclared qualifications would not be accepted for future career progression.

Applicants must be of good character, free from financial indebtedness, and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence. The corps also stated that applicants must not have tattoos on any part of their bodies and should use personal email addresses and phone numbers when submitting applications.

The FRSC advised pregnant women not to apply and warned prospective applicants against fraudsters.
