Fresh drama has emerged surrounding the reported marital crisis between Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo and her husband, Bobby Maris, after the actress’ close friend, Sochima, publicly criticized him in a series of social media posts.
The development comes days after fans noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling speculation that there may be trouble in their marriage. Bobby Maris also shared a cryptic post that read:
“The crown wife is not fit for every woman’s head.”
Amid the speculation, Sochima appeared to take sides by accusing Bobby of failing in his responsibilities as a husband and father.
In an Instagram Story that has since gone viral, she wrote:

Very lazy thing, sleeps from Monday to Sunday, contributes absolutely nothing to the growth of the family, not even physical, emotional or even general care to even he’s children. I mean money is not everything but when you are not getting money or emotional support Omo. The i!i0t will even come on social media to be forming big boy, omo that thing use to annoy me ehhhh. You will provoke your wife and once she’s set off the i!i0t will bring out camera and start recording. Her only crime was that she said she’s not doing again oo. Go and find your next client lazy thing!!!!”

Neither Uche Ogbodo nor Bobby Maris has publicly addressed Sochima’s allegations, and the claims remain unverified.
The actress and Bobby Maris got traditionally married in January 2023 in her hometown in Imo State. At the time, Uche announced that she was officially Mrs. Bobby Florentus Ugwoegbu and frequently shared loved-up moments from their marriage on social media.
