Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Sarah Martins has sparked conversations online after sharing her personal views on tithing and charitable giving.
The actress revealed that she does not give her tithe to pastors, explaining that she prefers to use the money to support people struggling on the streets by providing them with food and other forms of assistance.
According to Sarah, her decision comes from a desire to directly impact the lives of those in need rather than contribute to the wealth of already successful religious leaders.
“I don’t pay tithe to pastors, I pay to struggling people on the street by feeding them. Instead of enriching rich pastors, I’ll rather use my money to empower people that don’t know where their help comes from,” she said.
Sarah Martins also spoke about the impact of support she has received from people around her, highlighting how social connections can positively influence business growth.
She claimed that popular crossdresser Bobrisky played a major role in boosting her business, revealing that he helped her generate ₦15 million in sales within a single day.
“Bobrisky made 15 million naira for my business in just one day,” Sarah stated, appreciating the role individuals can play in helping others achieve success.

I’m of the opinion that tithes should come into the house of God regardless of who’s in charge of the temple, just do your part and leave the person to account to God on what he/she used the tithe to do for the ministry of God. The only thing that is not mandatory to come into the house of God is your “seed of faith”. You can actually sow a seed in the live of others out there, not using your tithe to do so. Go and read Malachi 3:8-10 NKJV.
