A Nigerian farmer has been left in awe after discovering the amount an estate gateman earns monthly.
The farmer, @kumigbenga on X, shared that the gateman earns ₦70K monthly.
Nigerian Farmer Speaks On Estate Gateman Monthly Earnings
According to the farmer, the estate gateman washes 15 to 16 cars in the estate for ₦1K each.
Additionally, he renders laundry services for five people living in the estate every weekend, totaling to 30,000 Naira monthly.
“He also does laundry for 5 people every weekend at N1,500 each..that’s another N30k month. Then, I sat down to calculate everything. Omo, this guy is making close to N550k every month“, The tweet reads.
Farmer Makes Startling Revelation
In the tweet which has garnered nearly a million views, the farmer shared that by his calculations, the estate gateman earns nearly ₦550,000 monthly.
Meanwhile, the gateman runs a small farm where he cultivates yam alongside pepper and sells them to estate residents.
According to the farmer, the gateman has two motorbike riders delivering money daily.
In the tweet, the farmer jokingly remarked “I just realized say na this guy fat pass all of us wey dey compound. If he no buy pepper soup for me this weekend make I bend”.
