A purported private conversation between a married woman and her alleged married lover has gone viral on social media, triggering widespread reactions over infidelity, emotional affairs, and marriage.
The leaked chat shows the pair exchanging affectionate messages, with both expressing regret over not ending up together. At one point, the woman tells the man, “I regret never marrying you. I regret it,” to which he replies, “Same here.” The conversation later takes another turn when the woman asks, “Who do you love most between me and your wife?” and the man responds, “I love the two of you.”
The exchange also suggests the two were planning to meet, with the man saying, “When I’m back to Nigeria I will let know,” after the woman asked when they would see each other again. Towards the end of the chat, the woman asks if she would become his second wife or his only wife, after he agreed she could still be his wife.
