Kenyan man repatriated from SA sadly shares losing valuables, teeth after locals broke into shop

  • A man identified as Ali Sambul was so relieved when he arrived back home in Kenya from South Africa, where he had been living and working for many years
  • He shared how the recent weeks have been for him after he left the comfort of his home to go at camp at the Embassy of Kenya in South Africa

Nairobi, Kenya: Ali Sambul, a Kenyan Somali businessman who was in South Africa is just relieved to be back home in Kenya even though he came minus some of his valuables and teeth.

A section of South Africans have been on a crusade to send foreigners out of their countries and quite a number of Ghanaians, Nigerians, Kenyans, and Ugandans have all gone back home to their countries

“We left South Africa at 6.30 am and came to Kenya aboard Kenyan Airways,” he said.

“I was at the embassy in South Africa for two weeks; ile maisha tulipitia ni Mungu ndio anajua. They stormed my shop and stole all my valuables, stole my phone, and broke my teeth.

Freddom Salama, also a retunee, was also happy to return home, and he said East or west, home is the best.

I missed our delicacies, our oneness. I have also missed our Kenyan police. When we were here, we never thought that the police were good, but out there, you cannot negotiate.”

“We thank the government for the successful repatriation, and we asked them to keep an eye on us and our families i ddnt know where to start and trust God to open a door.

“That’s the case with many people, they just want to return home and wait on God; everyone was struggling.
