Khudrah Mosunmola, the wife of popular Nigerian skit maker Cute Abiola, has responded after a social media user mocked her appearance, claiming she looked older than her husband.
The mother of two shared a screenshot of the comment, in which the troll wrote:
“This lady will senior this man in age, oh. Older than him.”
Responding, Khudrah posted a throwback photo of herself taken in 2021, months before her marriage, while explaining how pregnancy and childbirth have changed her body over the past five years.
According to her, she has gone through two successful pregnancies, three Caesarean surgeries, multiple pregnancies and an ectopic pregnancy, all within a short period.
“Me in 2021, months before marriage!
“So yeah, you’re right.
“2 healthy boys in the space of 3 years.
“3CS in the space of 4 years
“5 to 6 pregnancies in the space of 5 years.
“1 ectopic pregnancy within the same 5 years.
“If my body can survive all this and most of you all still come to type rubbish here, then you all won.
“So far, I have my beautiful two boys. Then jokes on you.
“Thank you next.”
Her response has since drawn support from many social media users, who praised her for speaking about the physical realities of pregnancy and motherhood.
