Real Madrid star stuns fans with new look after cosmetic procedure

Real Madrid and Brazil forward Vinicius Junior has sparked widespread reactions after emerging with a noticeably different appearance following a reported cosmetic chin harmonisation procedure after the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The 26-year-old, one of Brazil’s standout players at the tournament, reportedly underwent the facial procedure after the Seleção’s World Cup campaign came to an end.

According to reports from Brazilian media, the procedure was carried out by dermatologist Dr Alessandro Alarcão at a specialist clinic in Goiânia, Brazil.

The treatment, described as facial harmonisation, reportedly uses dermal fillers to sculpt and redefine facial contours, with Vinicius opting for a more pronounced chin and jawline.

The footballer’s new appearance first attracted public attention after photos shared on social media by his on-and-off partner, Virginia Fonseca, showed the pair together at the opening of her new gym.

Another video circulating online captured the Real Madrid attacker signing a club jersey, with his side profile revealing a sharper and more defined facial structure.

The dramatic transformation has generated mixed reactions across social media, with many supporters saying the Brazil international now looks almost unrecognisable.

Others described the new look as giving him greater facial definition and confidence, while some remained sceptical, suggesting lighting, camera angles or edited images may have exaggerated the changes.

Vinicius has not publicly commented on the reported procedure or addressed the widespread discussion surrounding his appearance.

The Brazilian winger has been one of Real Madrid’s key players in recent seasons and remains one of the most recognisable faces in world football following another high-profile World Cup campaign.
